Road Improvement Plan agreed for 2024-2026

South Ayrshire Council is set to invest just under £4.3 million on road improvements in 2024/26, which includes resurfacing works and road reconstruction projects. The funding will also be used for footpaths, bridge maintenance, coastal defences, and the continued rollout of energy efficient LED street lighting. UK Shared Prosperity Fund Proposals Agreed

Councillors recently approved a range of proposals for the final year of UK Shared Prosperity Fund to support local priorities. The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) was first launched in 2022 as part of the ‘Levelling Up’ programme, which provides funding for local authorities to invest.
